In memory of Boris Brott

Our Board and staff are honoured that Boris Brott’s family have suggested people make a memorial donation to the Brott Music Festival– the organization he founded and was the face of for 35 years. Boris’ passing calls us to continue where he so brilliantly left off.

Thank you for honouring the legacy and memory of our beloved Maestro with your generosity and messages of support. We truly appreciate them.

Why Support Brott Music?

Your support has kept us growing — The Brott Music Festival, once a 10-day festival has now grown into a year-round organization. It is the home of two internationally recognized Canadian professional programs – the National Academy Orchestra of Canada and BrottOpera.

Your support means everyone can enjoy our concerts — We provide free concerts every summer, making music available to everyone.  We are also able to perform free of charge throughout the community, whether it’s at a TiCat game or Canada Day celebrations.

Your support brings music into children’s lives – Brott Education Concerts has played a leading role in introducing children to the power of live music and the experience of seeing it performed.

Your support keeps ticket prices as low as possible – with prices of everything skyrocketing, it is vital that we download as little as possible onto our audiences so that as many people as possible can attend our concerts.

Your support sends a powerful message – to our government and private sponsors that our community believes in our values and philosophy. This in turn can increase their support of our programs.

Thank You

For everything you have done for us in the past, everything you still do and will continue to do, we at Brott Music want you to know how truly thankful we are to our generous sponsors and funders.
