Brott Chorus: Mental Music

Brott Chorus: Mental Music

Brott Chorus aims to develop choral singers and help them grow into their full potential.  This undertaking involves training through a series of workshops, sectional support with professional section leads, master classes with a world renowned choral clinician, and rehearsals with the best of Hamilton’s accompanists and chorus masters.  Choristers of all caliber are welcome to apply.  No one will be turned down a chance to audition!

Why not take this chance and see where your musical gift can take you?  Not only is singing in a group fun but also remember that the process of learning music promotes mental development.  While learning under musical masters your brain will improve motor, auditory and visual skills.  It is also proven that learning music makes you better at math, even if you never feel a need for it during your musical career.  If this does not inflate your ego enough then consider that learning music promotes stronger memories and executive functions.  Singing creates a light show in your brain that rivals that of a firework display.  Keep all this in mind as you develop and grow your musical gift under the masters here at Brott Music.  Attendees will be given the chance to perform choral favourites such as: Glick`s Triumph of the Spirit, Mozart’s Requiem, Bizet’s Carmen and Mahler`s “Resurrection“ Symphony No. 2.  Your skills will be sharpened with rehearsals, workshops and masterclasses with industry professionals.

Applications are being accepted currently for this innovative opportunity, apply and try your skills at an audition for a chance to improve and grow.
