Please help us to continue to provide musical, magical inspiration, imagination and illumination!
A Message from Boris
You have told us many times how important music is to you and how much you love and enjoy the programmes that The Brott Music Festival provides to Southern Ontario throughout the year. For over 25 years our patrons have shared in musical events, whether profoundly moving symphonic works, glorious operatic arias or thoroughly entertaining and lighthearted medleys, which have drawn us together as a community and offered an environment in which we can leave the tumult of everyday life and find relief, ease and joy, for a while at least.
Although I am sure you know that the BMF is a non-profit organization, you may not be aware of how very much we rely on you, to help support the varied, diverse and brilliant programming which is offered annually to The Golden Horseshoe by our Festival, and its superb National Academy Orchestra. The funding that we receive from government agencies, foundations, corporations and local businesses covers less than half of the necessary dollars required to mount these outstanding performances, bring first-class soloists to our stage and ensure productions unsurpassed in excellence and professionalism. Without your help, without your gifts, your physical and fiscal support, the concerts you love would not be possible. So much of The Brott Music Festival depends on you!
Your donations, sponsorship and volunteering assist, not only our Summer Season productions, but our Fall Educations Concerts, the Apprentice/Mentor programmes for the superlative young professionals in the NAO, the Outreach Concerts, for members of the community unable to get to our scheduled events, and the many new initiatives we are constantly creating to ensure that every member of our community has an opportunity to enjoy live, exciting musical performances. All these branches of our organisation help to make our area a cultural heart, a centre for artistic distinction, and a focal point for the best in musical presentations.
